Yamaha launch, New generation 115 H.P. engine

Not many outboard engines become iconic, but Yamaha’s popular, tried and trusted F115A, one of the stalwart pathfinders of Yamaha’s original and pioneering 4-stroke line-up, has certainly come close, earning almost legendary status around the world. So the 2014 launch of a new, even more technologically advanced version, the F115B, will be music to the ears of loyal Yamaha owners around the world.

The result is an amazingly versatile unit, weighing only 173kg (13kg less than the current F115A) and delivering the highest power-to-weight performance in its class.

The engine configuration is an in-line 4 cylinder.
