From 18th to 26th January 2025, Düsseldorf became the epicentre of innovation and excellence in the nautical world with the celebration of Boot Düsseldorf, one of the most prestigious boat shows in Europe. This event brought together over 1,500 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest in boats, water sports equipment, and marine technology. Among the highlights of the event were the Blue Innovation Dock, a space dedicated to sustainability and the future of the boating industry, as well as prestigious awards such as the European Yacht of the Year.

At Nautica Casas, we could not miss this major event. On 22nd and 23rd January, we attended this spectacular exhibition, where we had the chance to explore the latest industry innovations and share our passion with other nautical enthusiasts.

Question: Joaquim, what are your thoughts on this year’s boat show, and how do you see the nautical sector evolving in the coming months?
Answer: "This year, the Düsseldorf Boat Show has been truly impressive. The ability to bring together so many brands, innovations, and trends in one place demonstrates the sector’s dynamism. In the coming months, I believe we will continue to see how sustainability and new technologies shape the course of the nautical world—not only in terms of design but also in how we interact with the sea. As always, it has been an enriching experience to share this space with leading brands and professionals in the industry."

Key Highlights from Boot Düsseldorf 2025

Boot Düsseldorf gave us the opportunity to discover the latest innovations from our most iconic brands, and we would like to highlight the following:

· De Antonio Yachts: The D29 was unveiled as a “world premiere”, standing out for its innovative design and high performance. The successor to the highly successful D28, this model promises thrilling experiences for day cruiser enthusiasts and sport boating lovers. We also had the chance to see the D50 Coupé and D32 again, which continue to set trends with their avant-garde style and outstanding functionality.

· Yamaha - YAM Inflatable Boats: Once again, Yamaha surprised us with its latest YAM inflatable boats, designed to provide maximum reliability and comfort for every voyage. These boats are perfect for both recreational users and professionals, combining cutting-edge technology with ease of use and practicality. The new colour palette, varying across different ranges, is set to be an added attraction for buyers of these top-tier inflatables.

· Beneteau: The renowned French brand, a global leader in the industry, celebrated its 140th anniversary at Boot Düsseldorf. During the event, we had the opportunity to be close to their team and share experiences with them. Among the new releases, Beneteau presented the Swift Trawler 54, nominated for “Power Boat of the Year” in its category, as well as the revamped Antares 9, the benchmark weekender under 10 metres. Once again, these models showcase an exceptional blend of elegance and performance.
